If you have found something that might be an unexploded explosive ordnance device:

1. Don't touch it!
   If disturbed, UXO can explode, causing death or injury.
   
   
2. Remember the location and leave the area
   Remember where you saw the object. If you can, leave something behind to mark the location. Go back the same way you came. There might be other UXO in the area; the safest route is from where you came.
   
   
3. Call 9-1-1 or local police
   As soon as possible, report what you found by calling
   9-1-1 or contacting local police. Follow any instructions they give you.
